You know what we mean: Straights are there for acceleration. But the first thing that the R 1250 R accelerates when cornering is your pulse. It has a crisp punch and direct grip on the asphalt, making you long for the next bend when accelerating into a straight. However, at the same time, you very much appreciate comfort. And you expect perfect support from your bike in every situation. Then you can enjoy every second of your solo trip. Not a problem with this equipment.
Thanks to the comfort package on board, you can approach every tour even more calmly and concentrate fully on riding pleasure. Its components include Keyless Ride, heated grips and the tyre pressure monitoring system (RDC). One visual highlight is the chrome-plated exhaust system or, alternatively, chrome-plated manifold.
The dynamic package sharpens the motorcycle's sporty qualities while offering added safety. It includes engine drag torque control (MSR, riding modes Pro, the Pro shift assistant and Dynamic ESA.
The adaptive headlight guarantees significantly better illumination of the road when riding around bends. As additional LEDs almost completely compensate for the applicable lean angle, the low-beam headlight illuminates the bend ahead and thus provides the rider with considerable gains in terms of safety.
High-end perfection: This high-quality, slip-on sports silencer made of titanium with carbon-fibre end cap ensures a robust sound and sporty look. In addition, the sports silencer developed with Akrapovič is weight-optimised compared with the standard silencer.
Riding solo: The single seater turns the two-seater R into a true monoposto. The elegant passenger seat cover creates a sporty look. In addition, the rear footrest pegs and rear grab handles have been removed. The tail is slim and crisp, emphasising the dynamic and sporty ambitions of the R 1250 R.

The navigation preparation with holder and Mount Cradle on the handlebar clamp serves for the secure mounting and integration of the BMW Motorrad Navigator into the operating concept of the bike. The navigation system and the Connectivity functions are conveniently operated using the multi-controller on the left handlebar controls.

The cylinder head covers and front engine housing cover are created using a forging blank. The Option 719 Classic II billet pack includes a cover for the expansion tank, adjustable rider footrests, a milled footbrake lever and clutch lever, as well as multi-adjustable handbrake and clutch levers. The milled mirrors, with their pure aluminium look, are another visual highlight.
Both exclusive Option 719 Storm and Storm II billet packs create accents that are emblematic of the design, using high-quality components with a rough, silver-grey look.
